Default Blu Fans and locations: Possible meet-ups?

Hey since this forum reaches all over...maybe we could organize some meet ups. Just a thought. I don't know how well these things work out, but I thought I'd throw the idea out there.

Just ordered Dirt for the PS3, btw....looks like a lot of fun. Vrrrooooom!

I suggest Vegas or Montevideo, (I just like the name of that place).

but meeting up in the real world would be fun. especially to see what we're all like in person.

I know that there are quite a few people from Florida on this forum, so I'm sure a get together could be arranged here as well.

Interesting, a "we own the night" theme...are you going to some Paramount and Universal films to throw popcorn at people? I'm down for a little hooliganism!

(None of this mamsy-pamsy forum fighting for me though.)

When is this happening?

I live in Rochester, NY, and would possibly be willing to travel to something an hour or so away. But I dont even hear of anyone on here being from the area....I figured there would be more seeing that I graduated from a technical school.

Therickus, you're about 3 hrs away from me... that's not TOO bad...

Maybe if one of the St Catharines area people could do it we could both go.

check out the massive amount of planning so far:

https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=17447

and I am shocked that you'd assume some hooliganism would transpire. shocked. what did you see my pictures on the ''lets put some faces to the names'' thread? ok so maybe I planned on invading a showing of ''the kingdom'' and causing trouble after seeing ''we own the night''.

I live in Indianapolis and would love to meet up with fellow Blu Ray fans in the area. There seem to be quite a few of you on here.

Default Impossible Meet-ups? why not use PS3 HOME

I live in Toronto. It would be interesting to see all of my Blu colleagues at PS3 HOME.

Not sure, if all of you have the HOME beta though.

When "HOME" is available for the PS3

someone should make a "blu-house" so we can meet Online

that would be the easiest way for everybody i guess... ^^

I'm in Burbank, we can meet at Priscilla's Coffee, right next to Warner Studios...

Just a thought!

Already on it... too bad it won't go public until next spring now, though.

Also, I'm in Kansas City, so I'm sure there's no one too close to me. But if enough people were interested in the earlier Vegas idea, I would definitely be down, and can get some great rates.
