Does anyone out there own this (U.S. copy) that is willing to sell it? I will pay whatever you want for it, as I have scoured the internet to no avail trying to track down a domestic US copy. Please reply/PM me if you have this!

hi there. i got my copy about 3 months ago on amazon.ca. they have it periodically in stock every now and then. it is pretty hard to find though, so keep checking everyday, even multiple times during any given day. if you can't find it after awhile, pm me.mine is brand new.

The Japanese disc is exactly the same except for packaging, if you're still looking. Its out of print in the US

The Japanese version comes with a DVD copy of the film (most likely region 2) while the U.S. version comes with a storyboard book. The U.S. release wasn't cheap even when it was available.

actually you can buy with or w/o a DVD from Japan
the BD/DVD box and obi look the same as US copy, other than Jpn set is bilingual on packaging, US version is Eng only


too bad it doesn't have all the spiffy books US set had, but The Jpn Box is very nice, anyway
ironically this is the much cheaper way to get this

Good luck with your search, I looked off and on for 2 years for the English Blu-Ray release of Jin-Roh (didn't care if it was used or new) and decided just to go with the combo Japanese release... really wanted the US release though.
