HotRats Blu-ray Ninja Member since:Mar 2009	Face (BBC 1997) Three of my favourite actors, Robert Carlyle, Ray Winstone and Phil Davis in this crime thriller directed by Antonia Bird. Some good action set pieces and a bit more depth than usual as Carlyle plays a disillusioned socialist turned armed robber. A solid supporting cast of British TV regulars, Blur's Damon Albarn doesn't disgrace himself and there's an early appearance from Lena Headey. Good soundtrack too. Shot on 35mm for BBC TV and issued on DVD by Universal, it could look very nice on blu. Bird and Carlyle's Ravenous would be welcome on blu as well
