Unlikely, that's the artwork Sony Pictures have been using, the UK release is an eOne. (I prefer the UK artwork so I'm personally not bothered).

Which does bring up the interesting question of whether eOne will give us a full release or not? We may get shafted, the last eOne film I brought (Goon) does not include the commentary that was on the US release, however that is the only feature that was missing. Perhaps be cautious before pre-ordering...

As I alluded to earlier, eOne are the UK's largest indie (assuming the Alliance deal has gone through) but are still very much indie. I don't think they do steel books (otherwise they missed a trick with Walking Dead s2)....

By the way the German release is in February, so we should expect a similar date

I Managed to get one of the LE Looper Mondo poster,
i haven't seen the film yet , but as you guys are saying its great , im really happy.

Looks like this poster might be up for some time.
And i can't imagine how good a steelbook will look,

all the cover art etc, will be great on a steelbook

Didn't they do Twilight? I think that got a steelbook release, so hopefully this will too
Anyway, my birthday's in February, so that'd be a great time for it to be released, steelbook or not!

Yes, there was a Twilight Steelbook, I did a quick google but couldn't find anything. The question is whether they deem this release large enough for one.

Also, I did a bit more googling and it appears eOne just crapped out on Goon, the Looper extras will probably be fine.

Awesome movie! Would be great if there was an extended cut or something like that. I prefer special slipcovers to steelbooks but either would be awesome!
