Onechanbara Z: Kagura Comes to PS3 with a Dream Club hostess girl
Quote:
Onechanbara Z: Kagura is getting a PlayStation 3 port and this version has a crossover character from another D3 Publisher game. Remember Dream C Club, the hostess dating sim from Tamsoft? Nonono, one of the hostesses from Dream C Club Zero, will be in Onechanbara Z: Kagura With Nonono. She says shes a time agent.
Onechanbara Z: Kagura With Nonono! is slated for release on October 24. First print copies include costumes for a sexy swimsuit and a futuristic battle suit.
So, D3 Publisher is porting Onechanbara Z: Kagura to PlayStation 3 and it has NoNoNo from the hostess dating sim Dream C Club as a guest character. NoNoNo is a singer in Dream C Club, but in Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo she’s a time agent that came from the future.
She attacks with… aerobics poses?
It looks like NoNoNo can perform her song ☆Paradise☆ and make zombies dance too. It’s like Thriller… with happy jpop.
Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo is slated for release on October 24 for PlayStation 3.
Its strange enough to see NoNoNo in Onechanbara Z: Kagura, but shes not the only crossover from Dream C Club, D3 Publishers hostess game. If you purchase Onechanbara Z Kagura With NoNoNo! from the D3P Web Shop youll get a Setsu hugging doll.
Earth Defense Force 2025 has a similar Dream C Club crossover with giant cutesy balloons. If you reserve Onechanbara Z Kagura with NoNoNo you also get codes for two costumes. The game comes out on October 24 in Japan.
PlayStation 3 port Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo! has been delayed. Originally slated for an October 24th release this year, the zombie horde have successfully invaded and pushed the date back to the 7th of November instead. To help take the sting off of extra wait, D3Publisher is releasing more information on Dream Club crossover hostess/time agent Nononos battle style.
Unlike Kaguras sword antics or Saayas chainsaw madness, Nonono fights primarily with the power of the future. Shell have two gloves that seem to be able to generate different forms of energy which can be used to become lightsaber-y slicers or fire off projectiles. She can also whip out a futuristic rocket launcher.
Nonono also gets her own special energy gauge called Futuristic Ecstasy. The gauge gets powered up as you hit foes and stores up to three levels. When shes in a pinch, shell literally call in reinforcements from the future, creating multiple time portal rips above foes that shoot ion cannon beams straight down on the zombie hordes.
Nonono isnt a vampire, so she doesnt suffer from blood frenzy issues. Instead, shell suffer from alcohol withdrawal. Apparently, being a hostess time agent from the future gives one a mean urge to drink, and the smell of zombie blood awakens in Nonono a high tension state where she just wants to get a drink and get back to base. Its otherwise similar to blood frenzy, where players gain bonuses to damage though whether Nonono loses health at the same time is unknown.
Itll also be possible for players to suck out boss skills in Onechanbara Z: Kagura with Nonono! These Vitality Skills will use your health bar when cast, but provide powerful abilities found nowhere else. One example is the above Vitality Skill Heavy Wave, which generates sharp spikes out from the ground in front of you to spear multiple zombies.
The Onechanbara games have always been over the top and Onechanbara Z with NoNoNo lives up to the pedigree with the coordinate system. On top of choosing costumes like this Dream Club inspired outfit and a hairstyle, players can attach accessories on Kagura and Saaya.
Another option is players can change the color of blood from red to white or black. The ink-like effect is kind of cool and I guess this is designed for people who dont want as much gore.
Onechanbara Z with NoNoNo also adds NoNoNo from Dream Club to the game. D3 Publisher has the game slated for release on November 7 for PS3.
The zombie infection must have gotten into the folks over at D3 Publisher. Theres no way to explain otherwise how the already over-the-top Onechanbara series got even nuttier with this promotional trailerin English no lessfor Japanese zombie-killing action-RPG Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo.
Its six minutes of complete and utter What did I just watch? so even if youre not a fan, just just watch it. Aside from being whacky, it does cover some of the stuff weve gone over before, such as the crazy costumes or NoNoNos dancing.
Ok, done writing, back to re-watching this video for the sixth time. Im ok guys, really! And maybe this might be a hint theyll localise this?
Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo will be out for Sonys PlayStation 3 November 7th.
Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo makes the Dream Club android a key addition. NoNoNo is on the games cover in front of Kagura and her name is part of the title.
However, you cant play Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo as NoNoNo when you get the game. NoNoNo is an unlockable character or you can pay 290 yen ($3) for the Parallel Traveler DLC if you cant wait to blast zombies with a laser gun.
D3 Publisher has other downloadable costume items scheduled to come out on November 7 along with the games launch in Japan.
There are many theories about how you get turned into a zombie. One of the most popular is that you get bitten, and you turn. Which begs the question: why, in zombie movies, do we see so many damn zombies? If theyre all hungry and slavering for flesh and just gobble the stuff up limb from limb, whats left for it to be a turned into a zombie?
Or are some people just more tasty than others, and those that become zombies are the ones whose flesh just wasnt that nice on the zombie palate? A kind of taste test mechanism? Whatever the case, weve got word that Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo! has gotten its second batch of costume DLC and theres some fun stuff inside, including that above Zombie Hug accessory as well as two delicious Dream Club Idol costumes. These are all individually sold and range in price from 90 yen ($1) for the zombie doll to 390 yen ($4) for a full outfit.
Did you really expect them to just kinda hang around in a retirement home when theres good ol zombies to be akillin? The original sisters Aya and Saki from the first Onechanbara game are back as completely playable characters for Onechanbara Z: Kagura with NoNoNo! in the latest batch of downloadable content.
Youll be able to play them in story, mission and practice modes as wellalthough, whether this affects how conversations occur isnt known.
The pack goes for 900 yen ($9) and alongside the two girls youll also get a few additional pieces of clothing such as Ayas cowboy hat that you can then put on Kagura instead, as well as 10 new achievement trophies. Youll be able to buy this from November 21st.
