I've been waiting forever for this! My dad showed this to me when I was a kid. Watch out for the giant dolphin with rabies!

I don't know if I've been this happy in years.

This has been #1 on my blu ray wish list for like a decade.

The DVD commentary was brilliant so hopefully it retains that.

We had this recorded on tape growing up. When I was really little something in the film scared me (no idea what) and I never revisited it. It might have been Joel Murray who I got confused as Mark Holton as the devil scene in Pee Wee's Big Adventure scarred me for awhile.

Either way, might be time to actually fully watch this one. Wonder what else WB has in store for us in October, but glad we are getting a film from the 1980's versus something from the 1880's.

Unless he's had a very recent change of heart, there won't be any new interviews with or a commentary track by John Cusack.

Joel Murray is a funny guy. I saw him live a couple years ago; he was part of an improv show I went to. Good stuff.

I genuinely wouldn't even want a commentary with Cusack. He's made some fun movies, but I just wouldn't want to hear him talk about the movie. He's so far up his own ass nowadays that it wouldn't even surprise me to learn he hates the movie.

The DVD commentary has Holland, Armstrong, and Bobcat just joking around, poking fun here and there, and enjoying talking about the movie. It's probably my favorite commentary I've ever listened to.

I'll be devastated if it's not on there.

It's WB Archive, so unless there is some legal issue I would be surprised if it's not ported over on the Blu-ray.

This is great news though, classic 80's comedy.

I can vividly recall seeing it in the theater as a kid.

I believe Warner did a new 2k scan for this, so it would look infinitely better than that jagged HD master on digital now.
