OK, so I have the afore-mentioned (Region B) Blu-ray player and need to have it made multi-region as I have a bunch of Region A titles (due to the fact that I had a US PS3 until early this year when I got a YLOD!). As I am currently very low on funds right now and can't afford the £200 for the hardware mod (if someone knows where I can get this done cheaper, please tell me), I was wondering if the following would work...
Download current firmwares for the US and UK, burn them to separate discs and install the different firmwares as and when I need to. Would this pose any problems? |
