Default XBOX 360 w/ HDdrive built in

I just had a customer who has friends working for MS tell me that they are releasing a 360 with a built in HD DVD drive in November, its called project Falcon. What do you guys think? No clue on the price or any more info.

Falcon is supposed to be their 60nm chipset boxes. Never heard anything about them having HD DVD abilities. I doubt it though as they'd have announced a price increase. Though I imagine they could have it as a smaller subset of the Falcon design (just as the HDMI units were the Zephyr but they still had the elite).

Even if it does happen... I wouldn't be too worried. How many people will actually run out and buy a second xbox rather than buy the addon? Seriously. Plus it will make it harder for them to cut the price of the console.

Anything is possible, especially with MS.

Just heard about the 65Nm Chip built in... nothing more...

The HD Drive can´t even run HD games... only movies...

how many people would re-buy this stuff ?!
(RoD included)

would make the seperate HD Drive useless also ^^

Looks like it sold pretty well. For 2 months straight it was going for $700 on ebay. The first week they were selling for over $1300 on ebay.... you couldn't find one in stores months after they started shipping.

Nonetheless, its already too late for MS too put in a HD DVD drive. If they did it when the system first released then they could have had a fighting chance but Blu-Ray obviously is the main contender.
