Looks like WB wants to keep the Peace

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment will release on Blu-ray Peacemaker: The Complete First Season (2022). The release is scheduled to arrive on the market on September 6.

Description: Peacemaker explores the origins of the character that John Cena first portrayed in James Gunn's 2021 film, "The Suicide Squad" – a compellingly vainglorious man who believes in peace at any cost, no matter how many people he has to kill to get it.

Is this the Canadian release or US release?

I'm not sure that they are. The database entry for that is linking to an Amazon ASIN for Amazon.ca. All signs so far have pointed to it getting a Canadian (and UK) release, but nothing for the US. Are there other sources with any press releases from Warner US that confirm this?

I know. I checked the database entry, and looked into the ASIN that Pro-B added, and it's the Amazon.ca product page ASIN, not any US one

I bet it will remember Justice League got released in Europe first on Blu-ray and 4K and was region free.

To be fair we haven't gotten an HBO-owned Max Original on BD yet, have we? We've gotten DC Universe but not nothing from HBO Max except for Hacks and that's only because it's a Universal property. The only movie I can even think of is Snyder's Justice League, plus the Potter reunion... everything else has been DVD, if at all, in the US.

I'm holding out for a US Release of this, hell even on 4K. But I might buy it anyway through the UK since I did buy Zack Snyder's Justice League UK UHD a literal week before they announced the US release. I stuck with my guns and kept the UK disc

Maybe with my luck they announce one for the US cause I imported the UK Release.

I'm more frustrated that we STILL can't order from Amazon.ca. Ridiculous. If there's no US release, I'll get the UK one... with its £12 shipping charge.

The comment section on the front page is rather interesting. The original listing has now moved to Canada, however, the moderator maintains it was initially put up on Amazon for a US release. Another comment mentioned that James Gunn mentioned this would get a Blu-ray release in the US, and I kinda remember that. So maybe there is some hope?

If it winds up not being released in the US, I could try and help you out! I only live an hour from a US post office and I have a PO box there.

Though with it being a Warner release, it'll probably have bilingual text on the packaging here.

Hopefully a US release is announced, otherwise the Canada/UK releases will be real expensive on Ebay.

James Gunn has a presence on sicial media and tends to answer/converse with fans.Maybe someone could ask him if he's heard anything about a U.S. release?
