Are you getting the Collector's Edition? im torn and i want to
hear other views on this.
i Dont want to spend $100 and regret it later but the statue and steelbook looks good. i dont care for the ring/buckle.

I pre-ordered it for the Steelbook, but I'll probably end up selling everything else on eBay as a package. I'm usually able to make at least 50% back whenever I do that (did it for LittleBigPlanet2 and God of War III).

I really don't know how limited these things are.

I wonder if it is really going to be limited?
most CEs are still available at knocked down prices. the only one i know that has sold out and soared above the retail price is Assassin's creed 2 which also came with a statue.

It's SO hard to tell with Collector's/Limited Editions. These days, it seems like they're not really as rare as it seems and eventually do drop in price (Killzone 3 was a great example of this). On occasion, though, you'll get some that really, truly are rare that disappear forever unless to be found for tons of money on eBay (Demon's Souls... God of War III is hard to find now, too). With Uncharted 3, I think the addition of a Steelbook will make this edition sell like hotcakes. After all, it is the first time that Sony's released a Steelbook on the North American side of the ocean. If I do recall, Naughty Dog said this will ACTUALLY be a limited collection, too, and that once sold out, that's it. Considering what they did with the Uncharted 2 Limited Edition (they don't get much more limited than that), I believe them.

I would like a game because I haven't got one for awhile... I think my last one was InFamous 2 for my birthday.

Having a hard time deciding what I want... Battlefield 3(PC) or Batman Arkham City or Uncharted 3... I want the CE of both games but could probably only afford one.

I'm still debating on the collector's edition also. I don't really want the belt buckle or the ring, but the steelbook and statue are very tempting. I'll probably end up getting the collector's edition because I love Uncharted.

The statue looks very accurate and detailed. but any idea if its cheap plastic?

Yeah theres been loads of interest. I think its one of the best CE's ive seen. im getting it, well the UK CE, but most people have already discussed the CE months ago when it was announced in the Uncharted 3 thread

Noticed the UK EE is sold out at Gamestop. This must be very limited like the UK GOW Trilogy Edition. I expect prices to get high on ebay. Lucky i got mine ordered early

This is the not necessarily the first CE i've gotten. But it may well be the last. And it's worth it, I think just for the steelbook and statue.

the UK edition is awesome but extremely pricey as well.
the US version is however available at all retailers and may not be that limited...
