I heard awhile ago that the film might be getting remade, too. Any word on either of these things?

These days, with all the remakes they're pumping out, it's easier to assume that any movie from the 80s and 90s is being remade unless they confirm otherwise.

I'm still waiting for The Stand to come out on blu-ray. I heard that it was recorded on 16mm, so there's definitely some room for improvement.. Hopefully we wont have to wait until the new movie(s) come out.

I asked if the original from the early 90s would be released on blu. Obviously a new movie will be.

This one is on my top 10 most-wanted list. Who knows when it'll go blu though.. most likely as a tie-in with the remake, or maybe 2015 for the 25th anniversary?

I would buy both, Stephen King's It and The Stand, if and when they are released on blu ray.

As well as Needful Things.
