Default Will my Harmony One remote become disabled once I replace it?

I had a problem with my remote, and logitech sent me an email that says theyre sending me a replacement remote and that whenever i get the new one i can discard the old one. First, logitech is awesome and thanks.

Second, if i connect my old remote to the Harmony software, will it disable it (not that it matters, its messed up anyway)? Just curious.

Thanks!

Not that I am aware of. However, I think you can only have one remote per login name. At least it used to be that way.

It will work as currently configured. But, there's no way to update it.

That's correct. Your account at Logitech is no longer associated with the old device. It's linked to the new one that's in the mail.

Yep, doesnt work! It says it disabled it but all it did was just not let me update.

If i make a new account would i still not be able to update it?

Sounds like all that's left to do is give it to someone who really needs it, like me
