Not even sure where to begin with this question, but has anyone successfully connected their Panny plasma to an AV device for sound?
Here is my setup: - RIHD on my Onkyo is turned on. - Viera Link on my plasma is turned on. - HMDI cable from Onkyo (MONITOR OUT) to HDMI1 on plasma - Digital Toslink cable from DIGITAL OUT on plasma to OPT2 on Onkyo. When I go to select HOME THEATER from the Viera Link Speakers option, I get an error that says, "Please check settings and connections on HDMI device." BTW, I have turned off all devices in between ant setting changes in order to re-establish any HDCP handshakes. I will contact Panasonic later for guidance from their end, but thought that I would also ask the question here. Google did not come up with anything useful. |
