Default no good beaver

OK, is it just me or does anyone else think that releasing Basic Instinct 2 on BD so soon is just...well...ridiculous? If anything they should put out the first one, at least that was decent. However, I've never seen BS2, I'm only going by reviews from family, co-workers, friends, magazines and tv. There are so many more movies coming out on BD that they should be released first and save this one for last along with Howard the Duck and Ishtar. If anyone liked it, please let me know and maybe I'll give it a chance.

Movies just coming out now on DVD are much more likely to see a same-day or near-day BD release than catalogue titles, because they're already working on it, so it's not as difficult to get the BD version up and running. It really has nothing to do with the quality of the film.

I agree with suprmallet in that new releases are a studio's main priority. That said, I'm not one to tolerate a "no good beaver" either
