Default 3D and 2D on the same disk - effect on PQ?

I have only got a few 3D disks.

I have the UK disk for Pirahna 3D. The 3D and 2D are both on a single disk.

Projected at 100 inches the 2D looked fantastic.

Yet I would imagine the picture quality to be compromised......

Pls share your thoughts on the matter.

The 2d on the same disc is not another copy. It is instead just one eye (I thnk left) of the 3d copy. It should not be compromised unless they lowered the bit rate in order to fit on a single disc.
