Part of the artwork. It's not like Paramount would actually dent the steelbook to get the effect. I thought you would've had more sense than that!

I think the effect of the steelbook design is supposed to appear as thoe it is a old film canister.

Well, since I was proven wrong about the UK getting a Captain America (also Paramount) steelbook, then I can only hope that I was wrong about Super 8 getting a UK steelbook aswell.

HMV will have it up if we get one. If not, then atleast the french steelbook looks awesome!
