United Kingdom Underworld Trilogy - Differences between UK and US discs?

I've been meaning to pick up the films for a while now and I'm looking at doing it soon before the fourth film comes out. This site gives the US Blus very good reviews for PQ and AQ, while I've heard a number of negative things about the UK releases. Are they different transfers and how major are the differences? If the UK transfers are vastly inferior then I'll import the US Blus of the first two, apparently the third is Region A locked.

UK releases of 1 & 2 are crap, part 3 looks the same as US release, but is missing PiP track.

I have the US release of part 1, Australian part 2 and UK part 3. If I was stuck in region B land and wanted Rise of The Lycans with PiP, I'd probably grab the Australian release, Sony released it there,(and some places in Europe), as well.

I had the European HD DVDs and sold them, picking up 1 & 2 cheap on UK BD.
Sold those on again, the next day and ordered proper versions. Underworld especially, there was nothing HD about it.

Australia

If you can play Region B discs, it's available here in Australia in a single pack of all three films for just $24.98 AU (after you take off the 10% GST, that's US$23 / £14.60) from http://www.jbhifionline.com.au/dvd/d...blu-ray/427729. And they ship internationally.

Not too shabby, eh?

(Edited to add: Films 1 & 3 are region-free; Evolution appears to be locked on region B. Flippin' heck, why do they do that?!)

That's not a bad price for the item itself, how much would international shipping from the site be though? I'm not in a huge rush for them right now, and if it's not going to stay at that price for too long, then I may just settle for the US and UK discs. There are some Amazon marketplace sellers selling imports of the first two at reasonable prices, and Rise of the Lycans is dirt cheap now.
