I ran into an issue last night after hooking up my game systems to my TV (just finished moving into a new place)...
I was streaming HD content on the Xbox 360 perfectly fine. Switched the same HDMI cable over to the PS3 and despite it saying the content was HD, it was only showing up in horrible standard def. Switched the HDMI back to the 360 and it worked just as well as before. Switched it back to the PS3 and tried a blu-ray. Played fine in high-def and looked amazing. Tried netflix again...still no HD streaming. So I know it is not a problem with the system's capabilities. It has to lie within Netflix somewhere and somehow. ![]() So my question is...what is happening that is preventing the PS3 (and only the PS3) from streaming Netflix content in HD? Is anyone else having this issue? |
