I ask my wife all the time if she wants a BD of a film I know she likes and then she'll say "Don't buy me movies." because she thinks they are a waste of money. She didn't cringe when I bought her Gone with the Wind or The Notebook though.

I buy blu's for my fiancée here and there. I bought her Burlesque, The Bodyguard, Help and Pocahontas 1 & 2 just recently. Out of my 656 blu-ray collection listed to the left, my fiancée owns 63 titles, which I mostly bought for her.

Yes, it is. Avoid the US version though as the PQ and AQ are shoddy. The best version released on BD so far is the Dutch version.
