All I can rationalize... Which is a major stretch... They're hoping that 4K owners are so desperate for content they'll buy anything. This is what happens when millennials run marketing departments.

They would have made some of that back with a 3D Blu-Ray, but they'll get NOTHING from me in 2D. If this movie is a flop then they should be happy that I at least want to see it in 3D, but why would I want to see it in a compromised format?
