Difference between 2011 LA confidential Blu-ray and the 2008 Blu-ray

Totally off-topic (remove if you want),but I just found out that they have done a remake of LA confidential!!Who thought they could do one better on the Curtis Hanson's version?And some still wonder if drugs are bad for you

Not a remake but a Pilot for a TV Version that never went anywhere...
