France Carnage (Roman Polanski)

Carnage Blu-ray PRE-ORDER

Quote:
The French branch of Warner Home Video has revealed that it is planning to release on Blu-ray director Roman Polanski's latest film Carnage (2011), starring Jodie Foster, Kate Winslet, Christoph Waltz, and John C. Reilly. Earlier this year, the film won Little Golden Lion Award at the Venice Film Festival. Street date is April 7th.

Carnage is a razor sharp, biting comedy centered on parental differences. After two boys duke it out on a playground, the parents of the "victim" invite the parents of the "bully" over to work out their issues. A polite discussion of childrearing soon escalates into verbal warfare, with all four parents revealing their true colors. None of them will escape the carnage.

Note: In the U.S., Sony Pictures Classics are in charge with the film's distribution.

This movie reminds me of Cul De Sac, not plot wise, but the way the characters are developed, I think It will be an underrated gem from 2011.
