Default 60" VT60 calibrated settings?? Why are they so darn hard to find??

Trying to find settings recommendations for the VT60 is very frustrating! Neither Chad B. nor DNice has yet to post their settings. TweakTV.com still has yet to post settings for this model. Does ANYONE here have recommended settings for the 60" VT60 based on an ISF calibration? I am currently using CNET's settings and while the picture looks good I'm sure there's some further optimization that could be done. Any help here would be greatly appreciated!

Those are dim room settings (whatever that's supposed to be). I think we're going to have to wait for our TV's age and get them calibrated. The VT's need to be calibrated, the out of the box settings are OK.

Tweak tv only posts setting on sets they called for (with that said, I find it odd that Kevin Miller didn't post the settings on the VT60 he worked on for the flat panel shootout, but that might be because he, D-Nice and David Mckenzie all worked on it).

D-Nice even posted back in June that he would post his VT60 setting "in about a week." Well that's been like six weeks ago and I still haven't seen anything.

If you look at my original post, I said that the CNET settings are what I'm currently using. However by their own admission, their settings are not based on ISF calibration.

Just google: dnice vt60 settings

His VT60 and ZT60 Settings are available HERE.

Remaining missing text will be included soon (for now, see the attached ControlCAL Settings Files in Post #3 or #5 in that Thread linked above). Calibration Reports will come later.

Others have posted reports and settings HERE.

Hey Controlcal....... I have the panasonic, calibration kit from you guys to calibrate my vt60. I was wondering it i should enter D-nice settings after my calibration or before, or not at all.

What do you think?

You can load them in, take measurements and see.

However, I do suggest you start a calibration session(s) from defaults, using your pattern source and meter...
