Default Are Hotmail addresses not allowed for registering?

I ask because I never got a registration confirmation e-mail on my Hotmail address, but I got it right away on my Yahoo address when I changed my e-mail address in the User CP. I made sure the blu-ray.com domain was in my Hotmail safe address list so it isn't getting spam-blocked.

Since my Hotmail address is my main e-mail and I would like to be able to see topic notifications ASAP, it's kinda inconvenient if I can't register with it.

When I first registered here, I used a @hotmail.com domain. Worked fine.

See this thread - https://forum.blu-ray.com/showthread.php?t=18235

There WAS an issue. I am not sure if it still exists though.

It could be related to the server move, but it could also be related to the welcome e-mail incorrectly being seen as spam and sorted in your spam folder.

You have to white-flag (webmaster@)blu-ray.com in your Hotmail settings. All e-mails that aren't white-flagged are sent to the trash folder by default.

However, if you registered this weekend it could also be our mail server's fault...
