I don't think it's a great film, but I like it. Will pick it up when it's closer to £10 or if it ends up in Play's 2 for £18 selection.

Also Philip Seymour Hoffman kind of looks like Porco Rosso in this one.

I looked (however briefly) to see about Region coding. Can someone confirm what it is?

I was absolutely delighted and surprised at how much I enjoyed this film. I've seen it twice and would love to see it again....good replay value for me!

A really top quality cast, story ('based on a true story'), production and just great fun.

All the characters are either very likeable or warm too.

That is rare and usually due to the quality of writing.

being universal i bet its region free. This will be released in germany next week. We should know more next week

It's Universal so should be region free. Wouldn't be surprised if a US release was announced soon either.

Seems germany leads the way in these universal titles the last 6 months. Still many that have not been release or announced in the US.

Yeah, definitely worth shopping around, today I got Rain Man for £8 and Lemmy for £9.

I'm happy to pay that for those.

I'll happily pickup Ray and Out of Sight too but I have those on HDDVD so there's no mad rush. Price point: £6-£7.

Can I ask where you got Rain Man for £8?
Have been waiting to pick that one up but didnt want to pay £12 which is what I think it is on Amazon now.

It was off-line, I always post links if I see bargains online.

picked up the Aus version for $13 at JB HiFi.

Decent upgrade over the dvd whch was already pretty good. Better depth and detail and nice bump in sound too.
