Slightly Mad Studio's Project C.A.R.S. (Community Assisted Racing Sim), currently a unique game in development that allows the racing sim community to help contribute in its development will be coming to all the consoles per a Tweet I just had replied to by them.

https://twitter.com/#!/slightlymadte...63474260160512

This is a true sim, as former Stig Ben Collins relates in this article.

Quote:
“So far my impression of this sim is that the physics are very similar to the Le Mans / F1 simulator we’ve been using this year at Wirth Research for the Le Mans Series, which is very impressive,” Collins commented.

“The graphics are mega and track realism is extremely close for such an early stage in development. If this is the early stages the end result could be stunning.”
The website for those that want to help in development.

Game Play (Remember this is still in Alpha stage of development)

Hopefully this wheel will be coming to the PS3.

I have yet to see a full track list or car list, but since its in development, they are both being added to all the time. I have seen Spa, Imola and Bathurst.

This is the same studio behind the NFS Shift series. However, much of the issues of that game was from interference from EA, its why they won't be doing another game with them. There was a lot of innovative things in Shift 2. This title goes way beyond that.

Wow. This looks impressive! Will be on the lookout for this for sure. Driver in the fourth vid looks like he could have passed the red car. Looks like he easily was outbraking the red car, but was getting outaccelerated out of the turns....

Impressive footage nonetheless.
