India/Bollywood Rangam (Blu Ray) - Screenshots (SBV)

Rangam - Bluray SS

Audio Format: Dolby Digital 5.1 & DTS-HD Master Audio
Subtitles: English
Size: 40.84 GB
Source: Team Tolly

They look fine but still i guess there is some color issue...even in tamil release it was there...can anyone who watched it in theaters confirm it..

India/Bollywood Rangam review

Got my copy today & here is my impression:

PQ-colors definitely look washed out(like Robo),even the foreign locales dont
look that colorful.I've not seen the movie in theatres,so don't know whether
that was the intended look.
AQ-audio is good, especially the surrounds are very well used in every scene.
but the Dolby 5.1 sounds much punchier than the DTS-HD.

Note:the sri balaji watermark is now appearing in the middle of the screen(right).
atleast in the previous releases watermark was at the bottom, but this
appears randomly in some scenes(very disturbing) & at the start of the songs.
Pls note how the watermark intrudes the tobacco warning title in the
begining!

The film (Tamil version) colours were slightly de-saturated and had stronger blue tones.

However, during the song sequences the saturation levels change to a more natural look.

The Tamil blu-ray (coming in september) was approved by the DOP, and will keep the colours intact.

It will also contain no watermark!

The English subtitles was also done by Rekhs.

Just observing you if you are not satisfied with the bluray quality then just say what is wrong...no need to recommend which movie should be released and which movie should not on blu ray....first you said cost is very high and its waste to buy and now when its released you brought it and commenting against it and telling why to release and all....just think before you post...

Atleast its much better to release meaningful cinema like Rangam than releasing a flop & stupid movie like "Shakti".

I browsed through Songs Only. Its true Colors are quiet washed out..but as I remember thats how it was in theaters. In fact it got slightly better in BD. Like any of the Indian Titles Audio is quiet Loud but doesn't sound harsh. I watched Bhavani DVD, and certainly this Blu Ray is looked and sounded miles better.
Overall if you liked the movie, this Blu ray can be easily recommended.

Again the same thing...iam saying it again EVERY MOVIE DESERVES BLURAY Its their wish on which movies they want to release and if you liked that movie then purchase it otherwise just skip it...no need to recommend which movie should be released and which movie should not.
