What are your favorite Godzilla films? - Blu-ray Forum

With a new Godzilla movie directed by Gareth Edwards (Monsters) coming in 2012, it might be a good time to review the classic Godzilla movies of the past 50 years. These are only Japanese kaiju movies that starred Godzilla, so no Rodan, Mothra, etc. Pick your favorites!

I dont like any of those listed. I only like the American version which came out in 98. Got Em!!

I couldn't vote in the poll, because you left out the only one I liked: the 1998 version with Matthew Broderick (yes, I'm serious). I tried watching some of the others, but in all honesty I found them to be really pathetic.

But that's what makes them so much fun!!!

I also like the Broderick Godzilla too. Many Godzilla purists hated it!
