If someone has already posted this, sorry for the duplication........Yesterday I bought two Monstercable HDMI connectors. In each cable pack there was a little booklet about Disney BluRay discs. With receipt, UPC label and 3.99 handling fee you can get a free Disney DVD sent to you. In same booklet were a bunch of $10.00 off coupons for discounts when buying two of selected discs - coupons to be used at retailers.

seems kind of strange but hey im not complaining its a good idea just im happy with the hdmi i have right now but if i wanted one for another hdtv that i might end up getting sometime in the near future(not sure when) it will be something good i could get

Do you get a free DVD or blu-ray? I am confused.

I'm a noob here. I just bought a Panny DMP BD10A & 2 Monster HDMI cables & got the Disney coupons. They are for BD movies and you will find a label on the cable packaging announcing the free offer inside. There are also several 'Buy 2, get $10 off' coupons for groups of films. They are grouped by genre, drama, sports, action, kids, etc.

The player came with 5 discs, plus these two, plus the five on the mail-away offer. This makes for a nice jump start to my collection. I am platform-neutral, having a Toshiba HD DVD player since AUgust '06. Today's my birthday and I bought myself the player as my gift to me. I'm ever so thoughtful!
