Default Smears with sony BDP S480 and Sony 32BX205

Hello,

Recently I purchased a blu-ray player (Sony BDP S480 ).
I have a two year Sony 32BX205 tv. It is exelent in TV SD and 720p content, but it seems to bee awful with this blu-ray player.
I get smears on all blu-ray movies with high motion pictures.
Even some 720p content that comes from the USB through the S480 got some smears.
It doesn't happen with a content that comes straight to a TV even if it is HD.

Can someone help me? Is it the TV or the BD player?

Thanx!

What do you mean by "high motion pictures" ?

Are you referring to High Definition, or that motion flow 240 HZ mumbojumbo.I hope there is nothing wrong with the player, as I just bought this for my mother for x-mas
