Video Quality Technical Term Glossary - Blu-ray Forum

This may not be the right place to post this but I have noticed that a number of the video quality reviews contain terms that I have not been able to find defined. Some examples include crush, aliasing, artifacting, ringing and banding. I have looked at the glossaries here

After reading a review I was wondering the exact same thing. Anyone able to post a link to a technical paper or care to define these terms in a more exact manner?
