I bought the region B release of Trolljegeren.
It's a great Blu-ray, but there's one downside. Disc region: Works on A B and C Disc size: 32,3GB Movie size: 28,7GB Audio: DTS-HD Master 5.1 Norwegian, DTS-HD Surround 5.1 French, Spanish, German, Italian and Russian. Subtitles: Dutch, French, Spanish, German, Italian Movie runtime: 1 hour 43 minutes and 42 seconds Downside, all the extras are in Standard Definition ![]() There's plenty of space on the disc for more 1080p content. Shame on Universal! ![]() They are all in MPEG-2 running at an average of 9Mbps Deleted Scenes (SD, 3:39) Improvisations and Bloopers (SD, 2:09) Extended Scenes (SD, 8:06) Visual Effects (SD, 6:13) Behind the Scenes (SD, 24:15) Photo Galleries (SD, 6:25) It's also lacking the HDNet: A Look at The Troll Hunter promo |

If the extras were shot in SD, and they most likely were, then there isn't much the studio can do, other than upscale them, which is what your player could do anyway.
This is a standard practice, and there is nothing wrong with it ![]() Pro-B |

fair enough. I wonder how the upscaled 1080p bonus features look like in the region A release.
