Default BD Drives in Japan

I popped into a couple of stores in Tokyo and saw that the following boxes are there (I assume that the drives are available for sale, I didn't ask since I had no $$$ to buy one 8)

Panasonic LF-MB121JD (99800 yen)
IOData BRD-AM2B (99800 yen)
Logitec LBDA2AK (99800 yen)
Buffalo BR-H2FB-BK (98800 yen)

External USB drives

IOData BRDUM2 (109800 yen)
Buffalo BRH2U2 (109000 yen)

The Panasonic claims the following speeds:

Record
BDR/BDRE 2x (25 and 50 GB discs mentioned)
DVD-RAM 5x
DVDR 8x
DVD DL 4x
DVDRW 6x
CDR 24x
CDRW 16x

Read
DVD 8x
CD 32x

That is about all I could glean for the time being. It was interesting to see Logitec (no 'h'), never seen that before.

Also I assume that these are all the Panasonic drive.

There was a 25 GB BDR and a 25 GB BDRE there also (Panasonic) though I did not see any pricing.

I saw the same models and pricing at a second store and there seemed to be plenty.
