Default Piranha II: The Spawning

Guilty pleasure and it would be funny if this came out before The Abyss and True Lies leaving them the only Cameron movies not on Blu-ray.

This would be perfect for Twilight Time since they have a partnership with Sony and usually sell out all their horror titles. It being a James Cameron movie alone would probably sell some people on it.

There was a US DVD and he even worked on the laserdisc so I don't see why he would boycott a Blu-ray.

I'm speculating. The DVD was released over 10 years ago. Maybe nowadays he feel disgust toward the movie. It's likely He is the reason why we're still waiting for The Abyss and True Lies blu-rays, let alone Piranha 2

Cameron has said it's up to Fox if there will be Blu-rays of True Lies and The Abyss, not him. As for Piranha II, I don't think he even cares. It's not like he's not willing to speak about it at all and in an interview he even has a laugh with the audience about it.

You find all kind of crazy claims on Cameron on boards these days.

It's funny, but the only way to see this movie is the director's cut, which is not available on DVD (it's the crap producer's cut).

Cameron's cut which was on laserdisc and VHS in the US, should get the Blu treatment, it's really a film where you can see all the seeds of Aliens & The Abyss.
