Which thread should be unstuck?

This thread might be locked right away since it wasn't sanctioned by the mods gods and admins of the site. But out of curiousity which thread would you guys remove from the Sticky section... I personally think 9 is a lot but thats me. And while i see they are relevant and stuck for a reason i wanna hear your thoughts!

I mean....I honestly only click on "ps3 games" on the home page....and only read the most recent threads so I shouldnt have even participated....but here is my two cents.....

Three threads about trophies? It just seems like 1, maybe 2 too many. Software update and Posting guidlines to me are the untouchables...I didnt click on the Games Tier, only because it had Blu-ray.com in the title and seems official. I also say that the Folding Home and Upcoming Sony Published Games(didnt even know this existed) threads can go, only because i dont personally use them.

i have a bias against the trophy threads because of who i am, but i think 3 is too many... i love MOONPHASE, Idealsupra and MarineMike but i think the Trophies thread should def go... with sites dedicated to the purpose of listing trophies it only makes sense... i understand its convienent to stay on this site and look but it requires a lot of work to keep up to date, and with only 1 OP instead of dedicated staff members, its a lot of resposibility for one person

I'll go ahead and say it.. I've never understood the difference in the platinum brotherhood and the trophy leaderboards... I realize there's a slight difference, but don't think the 2 threads are warranted...

If they were going to merge any i'd merge those.

Yeah I kinda agree. Usually we say plats in the trophy thread too so if it was me I would just add a list of who has what plat on the first page of the trophy thread. It does seem redundant.

That being said, I actually voted for upcoming sony games. I think its a bit unneccessary considering we have a thread for every game not to mention it could probably be founf anywhere or could be merged to something else.

The only problem with merging threads is somebody running it. If we could get staff to help out, mutiple people or if someone admitted it was too much and couldnt handle it someone else could step in.

I hear you, taking turns would be sweet, but i dont know how possible or convenient that is fot mods.

I think discussion threads really have no place being stickied anyways. Stickies are better for FAQ or general information, not for permanently bumping threads for people to discuss.

In that spirit, I think the following don't belong in the stickies:

Trophy Leaderboard
The Platinum Brotherhood
Blu-ray.com Games Tier

And the following could be merged into 1 game information sticky page:

Trophies
Useful Links + Folding@home Team 56895
Upcoming Sony Published Games

Forum Posting Guidelines could probably use a revamp at this point too. Maybe even use the official forum rules (if such a thread exists).

That's just my two cents. Personally, I find the less sticky topics there are the cleaner this place looks.

i feel like even if they unstuck the Trophy Leaderboards thread, that it would never move off the first page of threads, so your right. it gets enough posts per day to stay up...

But, being at the top I don't have to look for it as it's the only thread on the whole site I care about... Other than the custom covers thread.

I rarely read any of the stickies, but the Games Tier doesn't even look like it's kept up. Last post date was 23 days ago and the game list appears old and short.

Even though i dont post much, i do check the Trophy Leaderboards regularly. Probably would take out the Upcoming Sony Games and the Trophies thread, mostly there are plenty of places dedicated to that.
