Better that he only covers hd dvd instead of doing like some sites and pretending to be neutral while giving unsubstantiated poor reviews to all things blu.
This guy loses all cool cred in my mind since he obviously can't pick a winner. Like the Xbox, hd dvd wasn't built to last. Last edited by richard lichtenfelt; 10-13-2007 at 08:58 PM. |

I'm pretty sure that Blu-ray Disc has the "Choose your own Horror film" feature too as well. But again, it's Harry we're talking about. He didn't mention that 'The Invisible' is on Blu-ray, only DVD. |

Isn't Harry the guy who picked HD-DVD because the player can also play DVDs?

Harry Knowles can't spare $500 for a BD player? Utter garbage. Even if poor old Harry was hard up, how much does it cost to tell the truth? Harry lies about Blu-ray and evangelises about HD DVD. I'm sure he's not so dumb to turn away paid advertising, but anyone that still thinks Harry hasn't been 'motivated' to back HD DVD is kidding themselves. |

It's not a really good time to attack Harry. I wouldn't exactly call him a liar. He's just badly misinformed. |

Blu-ray can outspend on the site, but I guarantee Harry was payed to promote HD-DVD. The "it just feels right" argument was nonsense.
I noticed a few weeks back when Masters of Horror was listed as DVD releases, there was no mention of the Blu-ray discs. Also, he has shown the HD-DVD box of Blade Runner. No one does this who is neutral or was paid off. |
