Will there ever again be a Battle Royale Blu-ray released for Region A?

I am a big fan of Battle Royale living in the US. I missed out on the collector's edition, of which only 10,000 copies were made, I believe. I thought that a regular edition would be released soon after but it's been almost two years. To my knowledge, since then only a Region B locked Blu-ray has been released, which means my only ways of watching this movie on Blu-ray is to shell out 300 bucks for the collector's edition from a private seller or buy the Region B Blu-ray and a Region B player, which, would probably end up costing the same. Is there no other way? :[
