Scratched Planet Earth disc skipping - Blu-ray Forum

My disc, played via PS3, tends to skip throughout the first disc(at least). Is this a common bug or did I just get a scratched disc?

Scratched disc most likely...you shouldn't have to deal with half ass picture issues like that...BD is better than DVD in that dept so far that ive noticed.

Not common. If you have a disc that's acting defective you should exchange it. None of my discs have problems like that. And I have that title too and a PS3

Problem is no idea where I got it from. I bought it back when it came out and just got around to watching it. Thought it was Amazon but it's not in my history. A close examination reveals some very minor scratches, any way to fix that?
