Borderlands Weapon Modding

Hey Guys, I'm thinking of getting the Borderlands complete edition (for psplus it's only 15 bucks for the game and ALL dlc). When I had it on Xbox, I had a gun that was actually invisible, but was a one hit kill. Can anyone tell me how to get it on ps3 or provide it for me? The game is fun for me with the gun (my one friend said it ruinedthe experience). But I suck at games like this normally and have fun when I do well like that. Please and thank you

There's a program that will allow you to edit your save data called WillowTree. http://blmodding.wikidot.com/willowtree-v2-x-tutorials
You can mod weapons or shields. I've used it on the PC version, and after I get 100% of the trophies for the PS3 version I might have some fun with it again.

So like before I go ahead and work with that, will I be able to load my save data on a flash drive, use that program and then mod my existing save weapons to make them super powerful?

Yep, the save data for Borderland isn't protected. Just make sure to keep a spare copy incase something gets modded wrong and the ps3 tells you your save is corrupted. That way you'll have a clean save to try again on. Make sure to do that every time you go to edit the save data so you don't end up losing hours of gameplay.

Like KamiAmaya said make sure you do a backup 1st. Willowtree is a easy program once you figure it out but there is some trial and error when you 1st start.

Alright guys, my friend was able to give me and drop a modded shield, I was wondering if anyone could do the same and drop me a modded gun. I'm on Sledge and I'm level 12 and i'm literally doing nothing to him, I'm out of ammo and I'm getting upset. Please, someone help me out
