Disney Classics Line (UK) - September 29th, 2014

I did not see a thread for these, but I figured it deserved one. Disney will be releasing a new wave of Disney Blu-rays with limited edition slipcovers. A lot of them look really great to me. I think they have a holofoil design, but that would have to be confirmed.

For US Importers, I believe the following titles may be Region locked:

Yes, they're labeled as O-rings on Amazon.

i just ordered aladdin came out to $24 USD shipped, tired of waiting for a US blu-ray release

also i like these slips much more than the villain ones

I'm interested in 101 Dalmatians but not sure if its Region Free or not. When I ordered Pinocchio & Aladdin last time they both said Region Free but only Aladdin was.

It is region free. I believe everything here is region free except possibly The Jungle Book, Sleeping Beauty, Pinocchio, Princess and the Frog, and Dumbo which have been locked in previous editions. Interestingly, Amazon lists all of those as being region free now, but I'd still guess they're locked.

The best way to know is to find a previous edition in the database and see what the region coding is. It should apply to these too.

Yeah that's how they had them listed last time too which is why I ended up ordering Pinocchio. I'll probably give 101 Dalmatians a shot. Thanks for the heads up on these.

I might bite on Frozen and Tangled both for £16. Region free or not, I will be getting these just for the Special O-rings.

i'm tempted to look at maybe Alice and some other film on Blu-Ray, but i might leave this for a later time.

I'm curious to find out if the later films in November will have new covers. I hope they do, since The Lion King and Beauty & the Beast will get one on their re-release

There's apparently one coming for Snow White too. Currently I'm interested in Mulan and Alice the most, but I kind of want all of them

Beauty and the Beast should be as previous releases were, but Snow White has been locked in the past, and I imagine it'll be the same.
