just a thought

i was wondering(while takin a shower) ,,,,,,after seein the graphics in heavenly sword..............hhmmm ????

we all saw final fantacy the spirit within movie...with that photorealistic CGI humans....that was in 2001...now its 2007 goin on to 08...what will the future of sony (ps3) game look like...

is it difficult to make the cut scenes in games,,,or the game play itself similar to the CGI thing in the FF movie...it would have been great if MGS had that CGI quality

have you seen Heavenly sword?
that game is called a movie by a some gamers

it helps that they worked with Weta they guys that did Lord of the rings
and had Andy Serkis aka golem play the main bad guy as he is use to acting
with green dots on his face :P

WETA also did the Silver Surfer in FF4:RotSS. While it was an actor that did the Surfer parts, they replaced him almost entirely with CGI. WETA does good stuff. I hope they work on more games because the production of Heavenly Sword was amazing. I just want longer more in depth games. HS was too short.

If HS was longer, then it would be perfect. I prefer a games length being the fault rather than gameplay or something else.

yeah i got heavenly sword......future games are gonna be like that right?(graphic wise),,or even better?...i love heavenly sword.."it deserves a pot of gold"

hevenly sword has too little content to be considered a movie nor game. It's unique, it's entertainig for those who dig button mashing type fighting games, however without it's stunnig graphics and cut scenes, would HS have had as much hype as it did. I think not. It's a game you enjoy for the sole purpose of being some what a tech demo of what the PS3 is really capable of doing.

So Hevely Sword would be more like digital entertainment rather than a game or movie. Like the other Fantasy movie: Advent Children, HS is more about style rather than substance. People don't watch FFVII Advent Children for the great storyline, dalogue, or character development. It's all about the slick CGI, incorporating the already well known characters from probably the most popular RPG in existance.

Heavenly Sword is all ablut style, but for some reason it works for me . But it still fell far short from the killer game it should have been.

and one of those people is me, I LOVED Heavenly Sword, the story is the greatest thing since God Of War in my opinion, not alot of games really draw me in with there storys but these two games are my absolute favorite!
the acting on this game is great, i'm tired of playing a game when everyone sounds like there reading or something and I have to disagree about this game being a button masher as well.

and that actor that played Silver Surfer is Doug Jones, he's such a great actor, sadly it was Lawrence Fishborn voicing him tho, he sounded a bit like Doug tho, which he'll be using his real voice in the next Hellboy film!

same heavenly sword is only a button masher if you let it same with any fighting game
the story is veary good and the bad guys were 2ed only to MGS bosses
some of them you realy feel for like the unloved son also it has killer one liners and othere joke all the way to the end.
