Did somebody know, that you kan buy movies from Universel (HD-DVD exklusive) on blu-ray at www.amazon.de?

Yes. Concorde and other distributors have rights to distribute titles which maybe exclusive to one format in one country maybe released in another format elsewhere. There are also a few Paramount titles available in Germany with English Audio.

the other (german director) ones are only available on DVD...

I have to admit:

The best sh!t is coming from Hollywood! no doubt!
US actors / movies are great!

i don´t like german movies / actors at all...

And i don´t like dubbing! that´s why i only watch movies on english...

This is true. I should have said German productions. I was thinking Wenders, Herzog, Lilienthal, etc.

BTW I like both Hollywood films and German-produced films. (Actually, I like films from all over the world.) I am also quite impressed with some of the Independent films that come from America. I did not mean that to sound like a bias.

I would just like to see German production companies going Blu.

Yeah! I know this one is coming out

I plan to buy it on the day it's released and do one of these:

1) Install a really good surround system in my flat (even though I'm living in a temporary place for only a couple years) and Christen it with Das Boot.

2) Find a friend with a boat and watch it there with surround sound.

3) Find a friend with a large mobile home or trailer and watch it there in surround sound (to maximize the claustophobic effect)

$4) Find one of those way cool Lipiniski Sound theatres and watch it there.

...and ideally watch it on a large projection screen....

A word of warning for people considering importing blu-rays such as 12 monkeys through amazon.de. I oredered this blu, and it was supposed to have be shipped on the September 24th. I was charged on the 25th, and I am still waiting on this, not quite sure how I should proceed as I don't speek German. I'm Bummed.
