Went to Fry's this morning.... - Blu-ray Forum

To get 28 days and weeks, they only had 28 weeks later, guy said it was the only shipment they had, surfs up was there too but i wasnt getting that. last week same thing happened with day after tomorrow. So could it be catalog titles are arriving a little late than scheduled? Just curuious.
i havent checked bb or cc yet.
If i cant get it this week no problem another title (that's 8 so far) to get next week to beat transformers. so no biggie!

Went to Fry's and BestBuy yesterday to get something for work. Changes in the displays and shelving again......Fry's shelving is the same (2 full racks of blu and 1 for HD-DVD) but they have a big HD-DVD display on the way into the TV area and nothing that I noticed for blu. Bestbuy in Sunnyvale, CA moved the blu-rays to the back of the shelf! WTF? When you walk in the first thing you see is a big 2 full racks of HD-DVD and no Blu! You have to walk around to the other side to find them. Still more end caps and HD displays for blu though. I guess Bestbuy is really trying hard to sell some HD-DVD.....maybe because it doesn't sell without a little help

. I'll probably stop by again this week to pick up some of the new movies that came out today.....I'll see how it goes. I see more people browsing thru the hi-def movies at Fry's anyway so at least they're getting the real picture.....more good movies available on blu.....twice as many!

Fry's by me tends to get the new releases on time but can be slow on catalog titles.

I went to BB last night and all the movies that came out last week ( that weren't there last week ) were there this week. It was almost a full week later that the Blu Rays showed up after their release date.

This week BB doesn't have The Fly or From Hell...its all listed as backordered.
