New releases never on time! - Blu-ray Forum

I am sick of bestbuy and circuit city never having new blu-ray releases on their release dates! Does anyone know where I can go to get new blu-ray discs on time?

dont order from target.com. i just got dracula today (a week after release). i could use some info on good places to order as well.

Lionsgate and Warner Bros. are the worst when it come to their release dates for Blu-ray titles.

As much as I am sure you would love to have the release on the Tuesday it is available, do you REALLY need it right away? Does it hurt that bad to have to wait a few days?

it kinda hurts...i mean if youve been waiting a couple of months or so for a release on a certain day and it doesnt show up it is kind of a let down.

First off...welcome....you should try Amazon if you want your movies on release day other than that this being a new format you will get delays in titles coming out or you just can't find them at retailers because they didn't order them or enough....

Hurts like sitting on your scrot, or hurts like trying to comprehend why anybody would buy HD DVD. I fully understand why it would be nice to get the movies on the release date. My point is that it isn't that big of a deal when compared to everything else considering blu-ray. If you have to wait a few days before you can watch the disc, it isn't Earth shattering or life threatening. It is not a reason to hate a studio or say mean things about them. If the studio is blu I am ok with them.
