I was thinking about picking this up anyone that has it know if its worth the money?

I thought it was worth the money. Granted I am not a huge, spot every artifact and find every missed audio opportunity guy, and to be fair these are not the types of movies that necessitat that but they were pretty much all enjoyable. I laughed out loud many times rewatching these great classic films. All in all some are better then others but with Young Frankenstein, Blazing saddles, High Anxiety, and silent movie that was enough to justify it to me.

how are the disks packaged? I ask beacuse i noticed the box is rectanuglar and that just wont fit on my shelf

It's a book type packaging with 2 movies on a page. Basically cardboard sleeves. However this version of the cardboard sleeve packaging I've found to be less damaging to the discs. Worth the money, great films.
