United Kingdom Universal celebrates 100 years finally brings classics like Jaws, E.T. to Blu

This with the Universal titles released by MOC, plus the Sony Pictures Classic Collection, yes we are being spoiled and bankrupted too probably. There's also a load of £7.99 Fox releases, which if they have extras, will be joining my collection too

Certainly is shaping up to be a good year for Blu-ray in the UK!

I'm really looking forward to E.T.

Default Its Dracula Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein for me!

Wow now at long last it's official : during this their Centenary year Universal ARE to release Blu Rays of both versions of Dracula both the Bela version and the Spanish version (!) and then Frankenstein and The Bride of Frankenstein well Hip Hip Hooray and about bloody time!

I used to really love those classic movies and came to them via Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine!

Let's hope we don't have to wait right until the end of the year for Bride and Frankenstein which one of the press releases seems to suggest I want it NOW!

Really hope its something special for Jaws. This and the Bond collection kinda leaves only Indiana Jones on the wishlist.

Will have to think of some more to add to that now

Mockingbird and Western Front are digibooks so perhaps the whole collection will be released as digis? Aside from the Spielbergs, The Sting is a welcome addition for me.

I've never seen Jaws or Schindler's List so they will be great to pick up when the price is right.

Defiantly sounds like its going to be a very expensive year for some..

I read somewhere on the digital bits that apparently, Paramount are releasing the Indiana Jones set this year to celebrate their 100th anniversary.

Excellent news! Really looking forward to getting the Universal Monster Movies and the Hitchcocks. And obviously the Spielbergs are essential.
