United Kingdom Which of these Warner titles would you buy if they got a UK Blu-ray release?

Another poll

Select which films out of the above you would buy if Warner released them on Blu-ray in the UK.

All of the titles in the poll are ones that Warner have already released in the US since early 2011 (and often other countries), but have not made any UK announcement for any of them as yet.

In time I shall send a link of the poll results off to Warner UK and hope that they listen.

I believe they may listen if there is enough votes on a title as I think me bugging them about Space Jam for the last few months has finally sunk in, and now they should be releasing it in the UK this year (when I first asked them about it a few times they said no UK release planned due to lack of demand)

All WB titles are region free. You can get Assassins, The specialist, for dirt cheap off amazon.com. There shouldn't really be a reason for someone not to import it, if they like it.

Ah, I see. Well I wouldn't buy any of those unless they were very cheap. The Warner films that I really want are Badlands and Local Hero. I'd be grateful if you could enquire about these! They haven't been released in the US though.

I would buy You've Got Mail, Meet Me in St. Louis, Wild Wild West (yes, I like it), and Tom and Jerry. And I would wait patiently for actual UK releases, I know that Warner are always region free and you can import them, but I prefer buying a version released in the UK. I prefer the thicker cases, and hope that by doing so I can do my part to help studios continue to realise that Blu-ray is popular in this country, with both new films and catalog titles.

Which Camelot is it KingSimba? The '67 one or the recent TV series?

I'm all for more Eva Green in HD (I've got the DVD though so I wouldn't upgrade unless it was really cheap....).

Will ask about Badlands

Local Hero is distributed by Channel 4 in the UK.

Exactly

If more people realised this I think we'd be seeing alot more catalogue titles released here in the UK by now.

I think a lot of these should be budget releases, maybe 7.99 (5.99 would be better), especially if they're just ports of the US discs. If I saw Wild Wild West (or the other titles) on DVD for 3-4 quid and the BD for £6 I'd be happy to pay a little bit more, if it's like 12.99 I'd go for the DVD no matter how good the BD was.

That would be great if they were in separate cases.

+1 for Badlands, although if the US don't have it, it is unlikely we will yet.

I'd also like to know if they ever do a US release of Arthur Penn's Night Moves, they will give us a UK release alongside it, seeing as that wasn't the case with the DVD.

Lastly why we haven't got Deliverance, it was released in the states years ago.

I don't mind doing this if you pass me the contact details if your too busy with other requests. Again your hard work in getting the studios to release UK titles is appreciated Simba!

I ticked Grand Prix, Red Planet & The Outlaw Josey Wales. I already imported Grand Prix, & thinking about Red Planet (good pulp science fiction) as it's only $8.49 (same as Grand Prix was). I tend to wait 'till titles fall below $10, at that price even with p&p they're only a pound or two more expensive than if they were released over here. I think most titles won't get a release over here, but it's so easy to import.
