Not sure if this is the right spot to be asking this. Right now I have a 4 port IOGear HDMI switch but it is having problems and 2 of the ports are not working right they will sometimes just make the screen blank. I have found a HDMI switch on monoprice.com I have read the reviews but trying to make sure I am not wasting my time with getting this if it will have problems down the road and to make sure it will work with all of my devices. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

once you get the switch and get down the road, let us know ![]() i have purchased plenty from monoprice. i even purchased a hdmi 1.3v switch from them years ago before i purchased my current pre-pro and the switch never gave me a problem and it was also harmony compatable. the switch has been working for an additional 1.5 years in my daughters college apartment with no problems. i would tell you to read the user reviews of the switch and see if anyone mentions any of the gear you have as having problems with the switch first. we expect post back here from you after you get down the road with the switch and settle in. ![]() best of luck, keep us posted. ![]() |

So to update I ended up not ordering any of there switch after reading more reviews and then talking to a friend who ended up having one and having issues with almost the exact set up I have. Instead did some rewiring and went back to component for the 360 since it gets used very little.

I was having problems with a HDMI switch that I bought from Monoprice. Turns out they recommend using 24AWG cables for switches and I was using 28 AWG. So, I bought some 24s and the switch has worked flawlessly since. Something to think about if you are in the same boat.
