Blu-ray Samurai

OK. I am officially the owner of two playstation 3. One is first-batch Japanese version, the newest is European version (60GB). That makes me dual-region for BD (Region A and B), single for DVD (both region 2).
However, I felt awkward of using X button as confirm. Normally I do it the opposite way (O for confirm, X for cancel), because my machines are all Japanese. This is my first non-Japanese machine. Is there any way to swap the button?? If I apply the Japanese firmware, will that swap the button? |

unfortunately no option to switch from XMB. I am struggling (often pushed the wrong button). I saw one PS3 (test machine) with this option though
