Default Limited Edition 3D Blu-ray

What makes a 3D movie a "Limited Edition"? I've seen this phrase on almost all of the blu-ray 3D movies and I can't understand why? I've done searches on the web with no answer found anywhere.

^ Probably.

On occasion, if the 3D blu is part of a triple play pack or something of that nature, then the additional DVD & Digital Copy can make it a 'Limited Edition', before a single-disc release replaces it.
